Designed for “done-in-one” CNC lathe work, the new 11-axis Cyclone-52 3TMY from Ganesh Machinery will be shown for the first time at IMTS. With 48 tools on three 16-station, high speed turrets and Y-axis capability on both upper turrets, the machine is well-suited for complex geometries, the company says. Live cutting demonstrations will showcase all three turrets cutting simultaneously in tandem with the 6,000 rpm, 2"-bar-capacity main and subspindle.
Other machines on display will include the new 35-tool, nine-axis Cyclone-52 BY2 lathe, which offers 18 driven tools and 2" bar capacity, as well as the 30-hp GT-3060 CNC Oil Country lathe, which offers a 10" bore, 30" swing and front and rear A2-15 chuck mounts.
