Often application of an abrasive formulation can be a "shot-in-the-dark" as to how well it will actually perform in the cut. Of course, the grinding process is complicated by many variables, each of which can impact application success. This article looks at a predictive method of analysis of abrasive performance that will help eliminate the abrasive as a variable in the grinding equation.
