Using ABSplus production-grade thermoplastic, models are printed from the bottom up, with precisely deposited layers of modeling and support material, the company says. There’s no waiting for models to “cure” because they’re hard right out of the printer. A water-based solution removes the support material to complete a user’s detailed design. Then models can be drilled, tapped, sanded and painted.
The printer is said to run quietly and unattended in an office environment. There are no noxious fumes or toxic materials that require special handling or venting.
