Automated Filtration System Reduces Machine Downtime
The self-contained Automag Skid filtration system from Eclipse Magnetics is designed to reduce downtime and expenditure on consumable filters in a variety of high-volume metal machining processes.
The self-contained Automag Skid filtration system from Eclipse Magnetics is designed to reduce downtime and expenditure on consumable filters in a variety of high-volume metal machining processes. The filtration system consists of an Automag magnetic filter, a purge tank and a reclaim unit to ensure that contamination is removed and clean fluid is recirculated. It provides uninterrupted performance to ensure 24/7 production, with no downtime to remove contamination from industrial fluids such as oils and coolants, the company says. By removing sub-micron particles, part surfaces are protected. The system can accommodate flow rates ranging to 900 L. A double configuration is available for higher flow rates.
