The machines are said to increase efficiency and accuracy by profiling, modifying profiles and truing wheels offline of the production grinding machinery. They are simple to operate, quick, accurate and cost effective, the company says. Wheel diameter capacities range to 28" (700 mm).
The one-piece, cast iron base is said to provide extra rigidity and minimize vibration. Standard features include ExVision, a computer-driven vision system with a software program specifically designed for the machines and their various applications; an automatic power zoom; and a two-axis DRO for measurement.
