AMSAW S300 is designed for cutting ferrous and non-ferrous materials. It has a stock diameter capacity of 3.00” to 12.00” and uses saw blades from 24” to 36” in diameter. The spindle motor is 60 hp (45 kw). The system can cut parts as long as 30”. Multi-indexing allows cutting of parts longer than 30”. Accuracy for length is ±0.005”, the company says. The design incorporates hardened spindle gears said to minimize backlash. It uses cermet or carbide-tipped, disposable or regrindable saw blades. Unattended sawing is possible with the automatic bar loading table.
