The TMM 1550 bench-top presetter is said to offer increased productivity, setup time reductions and improved tool performance. Features include high-resolution video tool measuring and inspection, single-touch operation for most functions, and a plug-and-play option for comprehensive tool data management and communications. Additionally, the presetter’s custom, cast iron Symmetry design provides stability and avoids distortion resulting from thermal expansion and contraction.

The company also offers a centering camera option for presetting and measuring lathe tools. Incorporating two high-resolution ParleVision camera systems enables one TMM presetter to measure all tools for milling and turning applications. The option is available for series 1500 and 1800 TMM presetters and enables operators to set, inspect and measure all lathe tools. According to the company, the camera’s high-resolution video imaging system assures precise results and quality cutting tool surface inspection.
