The system’s configuration is built on the company’s HDS press brake, an eco-friendly, electric/hydraulic, down-acting system that features a hybrid drive designed for low energy consumption and requiring less hydraulic fluid than conventional machines.
The system’s ram is capable of repeatability to within tolerances of ± 0.00004". For precise bending control at virtually any position, a five-axis backgage provides continuously updated feedback to the AMNC/PC control, where exact positioning can be viewed at any time.
