Intended for mixed-volume, short-run or dedicated high-volume applications, the FBL-200 turning center from Chevalier features a 45-degree, rigid, slant-bed boxway structure. Its ribbed Meehanite, cast iron mono-block casting provides strong support and high damping that reduce deflection and vibration during heavy machining.

The lathe is equipped with an 8" chuck and has an 18.5" maximum swing diameter, a 10.2" maximum turning diameter and a maximum turning length ranging to 16". Machining features include a 20-hp AC digital spindle motor, bar capacity of 2.55" in diameter and spindle speeds ranging to 3,500 rpm. A 10-station turret offers fast tool indexing. To ease rigid tapping and threading operations, the FBL-200 is equipped with a FANUC 0i-TD control and digital servodrive and motor.

Chevalier will also display its EM2033L and QP2443 VMCs, FBL-300 MC turning center, and Smart-B818III and FSG-1224ADIII grinding machines.
