In Booth E-5202, Hexagon Metrology will showcase the #88 Diet Mountain Dew/National Guard Chevrolet driven by Dale Earnhardt Jr., who drives for Hendrick Motorsports on the Sprint Cup circuit. The 2012 season marks Earnhardt's 13th in NASCAR Sprint Cup Series competition. Earnhardt says the core of his team has remained intact and that has fueled success. In 21 NASCAR Sprint Cup races this season, Earnhardt has achieved the first-place ranking in the driver standings with one win, nine top-five finishes and 15 top-10s.
