U S Shop Tools has expanded its line of Round Jaws for manual and CNC lathe chucks with sizes now ranging from 6" to as large as 28" in diameter. Available in a variety of heights, the jaws are manufactured from 1018 or 1050 steel and 6061-T6 or A319 extruded aluminum. Suitable for thin-walled or irregular shaped parts, the jaws enable complete gripping while distributing pressure evenly throughout the workpiece. The jaws are also said to help maintain concentricity and hold close tolerances.
