Carl Zeiss Industrial Metrology’s Contura G2 coordinate measuring machine (CMM) features a “total system design” in which the company’s scanning technology is built into the machine, controller, sensor and software. It is available in three configurations, direkt, RDS and aktiv. All configurations use Zeiss Vast technology for improved accuracy with either articulating or active scanning.
