SMTCL-Americas will display its new i5 CNC unit for the company’s two-, three-, four- and five-axis machines. The control features 3D color graphics for simulations as well as part feature programming. Additional features include internet-enabled tool management and remote diagnostic capabilities to make machines more productive.
Email and text messages from the machine can also communicate key information to manufacturers. Apps are also available for both Android and IOS devices to make the control more productive.
The system integrates with production systems and can provide data to measure productivity and performance. The control also integrates with robots, automation, measurement devices and rotary tables. The machine can directly provide information to production scheduling systems and ERP systems.
