Horn’s System DR Reaming system features narrow cutter inserts for precision machining of steels, cast materials, non-ferrous metals and plastics. The DR product, produced under license from Urma AG, is available with cutting edge diameters ranging from 0.465" to 5.518" (11.9 - 141 mm). The inserts are available in both coated and non-coated carbide, as well as cermets. All diameter cutters are available with straight flutes, or left-hand helical flute geometries for reaming both through-holes and blind holes. Four cutting geometries are available for the straight-flute versions and two for the left-hand, helical-flute version. The inserts can be exchanged by a positioning pin and torque specific screws.
