Continental Machines Inc. (CMI; Savage, Minnesota), manufacturer of the DoAll Sawing Products brand of metalcutting band saws, has announced its two-year plan to transition from a manufacturing-based company to a service- and distribution-based company.

During the transition, CMI will offer its current line of DoAll core products while adding new sawing machine models. A new product line is scheduled to be launched at IMTS 2016. In addition, existing models will also be on display.

“The new organizational structure is a critical step in allowing us to continue offering our customers an innovative, high quality product and to be able to quickly capitalize on shifting industry trends,” says Kurt Plechaty, vice president. “This also creates an opportunity of cost savings for the customer who can still expect to benefit from the stringently high standards of the DoAll brand.”

CMI will increase technical support for the entire DoAll product line through its team of service and repair professionals as well as expand the availability of replacement parts in its online parts store.
