Control Maker Certifies Education Institutions
FANUC FA America is now offering a Certified Education CNC Training Program.
Control technology provider FANUC FA America cites the Madison Area Technical College as an example of an institution that will soon be taking advantage of the control company’s new Certified Education CNC Training Program. In fall 2013, this college will open a new advanced manufacturing facility, the Ingenuity Center. FANUC says its program for facilities such as this one aims at certifying instructors and approving curricula that rely on FANUC technology. This is potentially an attractive credential, and a useful one for manufacturing employers, because many manufacturers use this company’s CNCs predominantly. FANUC’s product offerings for education include simulation packages for use in programming classes.
