The WSI system consists of a coolant-through holder available in standard diameters, as well as infinite-length-adjustable ID turning inserts designed for optimal stability. Developed for IDs measuring less than 2 mm, the system provides ID plunging and turning in a single process. According to the company, setup time is reduced because of variable length adjustment in the Z axis, default mounting position, quick tool change-overs and repeatability of 0.02 mm.
