Kitagawa-Northtech will showcase custom business solutions and workholding technology, including large and standard chucks, rotary tables, fixtures and steady rests.

The company will display its custom-developed steady rests designed to fit securely into standard and long turning center beds. This design is said to enable optimal clearance for clamping and turret operations. The rests securely hold long and narrow workpieces for closer tolerances, turning accuracy and repeatability.

The company will also be promoting its Productivity Team, a group of engineering and workholding specialists established to overcome complex obstacles to productivity. Also featured are Custom Engineered Solutions, a process of reviewing applications from initial concept to final implementation in order to solve workholding constraints. Every custom solution is specifically designed to meet the needs of the customer, accelerating productivity and profit gains, the company says.
