Mollart Engineering’s LD4 Drillsprint deep hole drilling machine features a 750-mm stroke and fully automatic loading and unloading. The machine’s capacity ranges from 2 to 16 mm in diameter by 750 mm deep. It can be supplied with counter rotation to create concentric bores and is well-suited for thin-wall components, the company says. A range of automation solutions are available, including gantry, pick-and-place and robotic systems. Machines can be supplied with one, two, three or four spindles.
