Command Tooling Systems driven tools for Swiss machines are equipped with a labyrinth seal that shields internal components from contaminants during operation. The tools feature high-strength alloy steel housings, solid shafts of tool steel that have less flex and damp vibration, and ABEC 7 or better spindle bearings. They also feature final assembly runout better than 2.5 microns for increased precision, the company says.
