Drivetrain Production Software Includes Flexible Report Generation
Smart Manufacturing Technology (SMT) offers version 6 of its Masta software suite for drivetrain design, analysis, manufacture and simulation.
Smart Manufacturing Technology (SMT) offers version 6 of its Masta software suite for drivetrain design, analysis, manufacture and simulation. The software provides features to develop and analyze gears, shafts and bearings, as well as the ability to accurately and rapidly calculate industry ratings based on full system inputs. Results reporting is fully customizable, providing a report builder to flexibly tailor documents to the needs and brand of the user, including sharable templates.
The software is designed to ease importing and converting various 3D model file formats. Seamless integration with Gleason’s Cage software is intended to close the development cycle for bevel gears, enabling designers to work within the constraints of machine calibrations, the developer says.
