The UDCB series end mills from U.S. Union Tool is designed for milling solid carbide molds and components. The end mills feature a diamond coating and optimized cutting geometry. According to the company, the end mill series cuts shapes and features into carbide material that is usually ground or EDM machined. The efficient, durable and wear-resistant tool provides quality surface finish without pits or burrs, the company says. The ball-shape end mill ranges from 0.2 to 6.0 mm and can handle the complete process from roughing through finishing.
