According to the company, miniature deburring brushes can automate the removal of burrs and the production of an edge radius on small-dameter holes, saving time and money while improving product quality and consistency. Filament choices include carbon steel, stainless steel, brass, nylon and natural to provide the optimum finish on a variety of base materials. The miniature deburring brushes are available in a diamond-abrasive-filled nylon filament. This material is suitable for finishing ceramic, glass and aerospace alloys as well as tool steel. Its flexibility is said to provide longer tool life. Diamond abrasive nylon is said to cut harder materials, deburr faster and last longer. Brushes designed for through holes (81 series) are available for holes as small as 0.024″ (0.6 mm). Brushes designed for bottom end applications are available for holes as small as 1/8″ (3.2mm). The company also offers a complete metric series starting at 1 mm.
