Five Grades Added to Turning Insert Range

IMTS 2018: YG-1’s range of turning inserts has added five grades, on display with the company’s full lineup of cutting tools.

Five grades have been added to YG-1’s range of turning inserts, on display with the company’s full lineup of cutting tools. The YG1001 is designed to optimize tool life in cast iron without sparing performance. The YG3010 is built for long-lasting performance and longer wear resistance for finishing steel and working with ductile cast iron. The YG3020 provides versatility for general steel applications. The YG3030 is built for interrupted cuts and performing well in tough steels and stainless. The YG210 is best for turning in stainless and superalloys.
