GF Machining Solutions Appoints Regional Marketing Head
Scott Fosdick returns to the United States after 24 years working in Asia.
GF Machining Solutions (Lincolnshire, Illinois) has appointed Scott Fosdick its head of marketing for the Americas region. Previously the company’s segment manager for aerospace and automotive in Asia, Mr. Fosdick takes over for former region president Glynn Fletcher.
Mr. Fosdick began his career in Japan as a development engineer for a Japanese machine tool company. Joining GF Machining Solutions, then known as AgieCharmilles, in 1994, he worked for technical service in Japan before taking over the position of service manager for Asia. In 2001, Mr. Fosdick became the president of AgieCharmilles South China and led that division successfully until he left the company in 2007. He returned to GF Machining Solutions in 2013.
“After nearly 24 years in Asia, I’m excited to be back in the United States with GF Machining Solutions and heading a key division within the industry’s leading supplier of EDM, milling, laser texturing and automation technologies,” Mr. Fosdick says.
