Available from United Grinding, the Studer S141 internal cylindrical grinding machine for short and long workpieces features an ergonomic and user-friendly design. Two large sliding doors optimize access for changing out both workpiece and grinding wheel. Short change-over times and quick reprogramming of the control help to reduce auxiliary times, easing both one-off jobs and larger batch production. The series is available in various sizes accommodating workpieces with maximum lengths of 300, 700 or 1,300 mm. The grinding machine effectively grinds chuck components, spindle shafts, spindle housings and rotor shafts or axes for the drivetrain, aerospace and toolmaking industries.
