J. Schneeberger’s Gemini NGM production grinding machine is designed to maximize capacity in a compact footprint. The machine design, spindle arrangement and kinematics enable the use of tools as long as 17.5" and grinding wheels as large as 12" in diameter. The 46-hp duty-rated grinding spindles support productivity along with either conventional or linear motor drive systems. The machine uses a FANUC 31 control.

Integrated into the machine, a FANUC loading robot can be equipped with two to 13 pallets measuring 300 × 300 mm. A wheel-loading system has capacity for eight, 14 or 25 wheel arbors.
