Gundrill System With Counter-Rotation

The company has introduced the Model 100CR gundrill system. Using counter-rotation of the workpiece and the cutting tool, the company says the machine has attained an accuracy of 0.005" runout in 40" depth. The company says the system's capability to work within very close tolerances is the result of precise laser alignment. The machine offers drilling ranges from 0.125" to 1.000" in diameter and with effective drilling depths to 48". According to the company, the system also is equipped with user-friendly, programmable controls and a coolant system with 5 micron filtration.
