No doubt many IMTS attendees cut their teeth as machinists on a Bridgeport knee mill, a machine that is still a fixture in toolrooms all over the world. Now, they have a chance to win one for free. Hardinge, the machine’s manufacturer, invites attendees to drop off a business card or fill out a registration ticket at IMTS booth S-8148 for their chance to win a Series I model of the popular mill. The company is also giving away a 5C indexer and a Flex-C collet system.
Booth visitors who attended IMTS 2010 will also notice that the company has greatly expanded its display this year. In addition to expanded lines of workholding and rotary products, the booth features 13 milling turning and grinding machines—nearly double the number from two years ago. Six of those models are brand new. The company also offers live presentations of its e-commerce website, where customers can make purchases and obtain technical information on the company’s product line.blog comments powered by Disqus
