Hermle, a manufacturer of five-axis milling machines with headquarters in Gosheim, Germany, will contribute global manufacturing experience and expertise as well as a C42 UMT five-axis mill-turn, which will be located at CCAM’s facility in Prince George County, Virginia, just south of Richmond the organization says.

CCAM is an applied research organization that brings together manufacturing firms, research universities in Virginia and its own scientists and engineers to work on common industry challenges and to turn innovations into production-line realities.
