The Junker Company will display its Lean Selection speed, a high speed grinding machine. The machine is now available with a generation control system. It can be used with both CBN and diamond abrasives on small batches or in mass production. The machine is equipped with a high-resolution B axis, making it suitable for a range of applications. It is capable of grinding ODs, shoulders, chamfers, radial grooves and plunge cuts. Rough- and finish-grinding operations can be done using up to two high speed grinding spindles with 12-kW drive power and a peripheral speed ranging to 140 m/sec. to maximize stock-removal rates and provide quality surface finishes.
