HMC’s Oversized Guideways Boost Rigidity
Designed for high-production environments requiring high accuracy, YCM Americas’ H630B HMC incorporates oversize roller-type guideways for increased rigidity.
Designed for high-production environments requiring high accuracy, YCM Americas’ H630B HMC incorporates oversized roller-type guideways to increase rigidity. A Y-axis, dual-drive system also is designed to control vibration as headstock is driven at the center of gravity to optimize the quality of machined surfaces, accuracy, machining time and tool life, while machining at high speeds.
The HMC features a circulated oil jacket cooling system for three-axis motor seats and ballscrew nuts. This Insulates the machine from heat resources to reduce thermal deformation and provides high and stable machining accuracy. A one-piece, T-base foundation with rib construction also increases rigidity, geometrical accuracy and structure behavior. Step X-axis guideways with a slant-bed design are positioned at different heights to increase stable and reliable rapid axial movement. For increased acceleration performance, column height can be reduced without affecting rigidity.
The machine includes spindle cooling with Micro Oil air lubrication to minimize thermal deformation for high-precision machining. It is available with 40-, 60- or 120-tool magazine systems that provide 3-sec. tool-to-tool and 6-sec. chip-to-chip changes.
