Protect The Tool

Entering or exiting the material at a high feed rate puts a strain on the cutting tool. Protect the tool by applying the load more gradually and striving to keep the load constant.

Considerations include:

• When entering the material, ramp in.
• Throughout the cut, try Z-level machining.
