The PHC (Power Hydro Chuck) series of hydraulic chucks are designed to combine the runout accuracy of hydraulic chucks with the toolholding versatility of collet chucks. According to the company, these chucks have 20 percent more clamping force than standard collet chucks and are intended for precision drilling, reaming, fine boring, and finish end milling. The hydraulic chucks have a stated runout accuracy of 3 microns or less at a projection length of 50 mm or 100 mm (depending on the cutting tool diameter). Additionally, an optional adjustment mechanism enables the cutting tool projection length to be adjusted with a hex wrench.

 

The hydraulic chucks are available in bore diameters in inch sizes from 0.25" to 1.35" (6 to 32mm). The 0.50" and 0.75" (12-mm and 20-mm) chucks can accommodate PHS Series Straight Collets, which are sized for cutting tools with shanks as small as 0.125" or 3 mm. The series is available in CAT, BT, HSK, and AHO styles.
