Large, Heavy-Duty Rotary Tables
The Super Large, Heavy-Duty Series is the latest addition to Lyndex-Nikken’s rotary table repertoire.
The Super Large, Heavy-Duty Series is the latest addition to Lyndex-Nikken’s rotary table repertoire. Five available models range in size from the CNC802 with 31.5” (800 mm) faceplate capacity to the CNC2000 with 78.74” (2,000 mm) faceplate capacity.
The rotary tables integrate the finest casting material with a patented ground, carbide worm screw. This is said to provide a balanced environment that improves rigidity. A large, dual-face contact bearing support that damps machining vibration and evenly distributes large loads enables the rotary tables to sustain weight equivalent to 22 motor vehicles (66,139 lbs), the company says.
With rpm ranging from 2.7 to 5.5, an indexing accuracy of 15 arcseconds, and the capability to significantly reduce setup and fixturing time, the tables are suitable for high-precision, high-production aerospace, construction equipment and energy applications, the company says. Additionally, offering numerous sizes provide multiple options for boosting the output performance of any boring mill or gantry machining center.
