According to the company, the TruLaser 1030 laser cutting system combines a rugged drive system and machine construction with a TruCoax 2 kW diffusion-cooled RF laser resonator to provide a productive laser cutting system in a small footprint. The cutting system requires half of the floorspace of a typical 5 × 10 ft. machine, the company says.

 

The system features three-axis flying optics for high speed and accuracy; an X-axis working range of 120"; a Y axis of 60"; and a maximum simultaneous XY speed of 3,340 ipm. The machine will cut mild steel ranging to ⁵/₈" thick.

 

The HMI features a touch panel and an integrated programming tool. According to the company, operators without laser cutting experience can program the machine.

 

Also, the machine ships as one complete package, and a specific foundation is not required for installation.
