The Flat Tec Hybrid lighting solution is designed for machining centers with limited space for adapting luminaries into the machine compartment. The hybrid combines two lighting technologies in a single housing. According to the company, an efficient T5HO fluorescent lamp brightens the machine compartment while two 6-watt LEDs provide pinpoint illumination of the machining area. Each light source can be switched together or separately. 

 

With symmetric and asymmetric illumination integrated in a single housing, spot and flood lighting are combined. The fluorescent lamp is said to provide even, symmetrical, basic lighting of the machining room. The asymmetrically targeted LEDs are said to precisely illuminate the machining area. The lighting solution is available in surface-mounted or recessed versions. The intelligent electronics enable direct connection to low-voltage, direct or alternating current.
