The hardened steel worm and gear increase life and accuracy, and the double-eccentric design offers fine gear mesh. The 5C A2-4 spindle enables the use of existing 5C spindle tooling without adaptors. The clamp/brake system is fast, with the clamp releasing in milliseconds, the company says. A pneumatic collet closer is also available.
