The Trak LPM from Southwestern Industries is a machining center designed for low-volume work. It combines the machine, control and fixturing into one complete system, reducing setup labor and change-over time from hours to minutes, according to the company. The ProtoTrak CNC technology blends with a natural user interface to provide the productivity of a CNC without giving up control of the machine, the company says.
