The company’s line of magnetic tombstones for palletized HMCs offers strong workpiece holding power with single face of contact between the chuck and the part. The cast-iron tombstones, which feature high-power, Neo-Grid magnetic chucks, are designed for minimal weight to allow higher workpiece capacity for the machine. The line includes standard designs for 400-, 500-, 630-, 800- and 1,000-mm pallets with either single or double magnetic faces. The electro-permanent magnetic technology allows the electrical cable to be disconnected during use so the pallets can shuttle and rotate without limitation.
