The Iscar Helido line of milling cutters is available with H490 ANKX/ANCX 0904. Designed with 9-mm inserts, the line is equipped to improve milling of smaller parts. The increased insert density can produce a finer finish or reduce chip loads at increased feed rates, the company says. The small inserts are available for the end mills in diameters as small as 0.625" and H490 F90AX-09 1.250" for face mills.

           

The tools feature helical cutting edges for a gentler cutting action; secure dovetail clamping; Sumo Tec surface treatment for low friction; and positive rakes to reduce cutting forces.

 

The end mills are available in more than 20 sizes, in diameters ranging from 0.625" to 1.50", and in cylindrical or Weldon shank types. The expanded face mill line, all with arbor style, includes sizes ranging from 1.250" to 2.50" diameters.
