The CKN modular connection for large boring tools features a three-screw interface to provide high clamping forces for maximum torque transmission. The system uses both steel and aluminum components to reduce weight, the company says. In addition to providing better machine performance and easier handling, this eliminates manual tool changes in many instances, the company says.
