Exsys Tool offers a variety of tooling system innovations for CNC turning centers. In particular, the company will highlight its Preci-Flex modular toolholder system.
The toolholder system is said to be a fast, accurate solution for lathe tooling change-overs. The system, which is available in a range of sizes, is equipped with a single base holder and multiple tooling adapters that utilize the ER collet pocket. The toolholder’s compact design maximizes torque transmission and rigidity to increase accuracy and productivity while reducing downtime. Each toolholder is repeatable within 5 microns. Tooling and adapters can be interchanged between fixed and rotary base holders.
The company will also display a compact gear hobber system for generating splines, spur and helical gears in one operation, as well as its Double Square Shank and Quad Square Shank static specialized toolholders.
