Monitoring System for Complete Production
The Marposs Monitoring Solutions initiative provides monitoring systems for complete production fields.
The Marposs Monitoring Solutions initiative provides monitoring systems for complete production fields. The program incorporates the work of three companies—Artis, Brankcamp and Marposs—to monitor production and detect machine conditions, spindle and structural vibrations, collisions, unexpected machine downtime, tool wear and breakage, overload, and free cutting. Artis provides process monitoring for tool breakage and wear as well as missing tooling; Brankamp provides monitoring for forming and press work processes as well as collision monitoring for metalcutting processes; and Marposs provides machine condition monitoring and customized applications.
The monitoring systems offer fully automated data management. Once the workpiece is identified, the system monitors, controls and adjusts the tool accordingly. Human interfaces including process visualization, process overview, analysis and statistics are available, and the operator can access the system information to adjust parameters for best process control.
