MSC Appoints Chief People Officer

MSC Industrial Supply Co. (Melville, New York) has appointed Kari Heerdt chief people officer to oversee the company’s associate relations, community relations and human resources functions. She will be based in Davidson, North Carolina. Ms. Heerdt has more than 20 years of experience implementing and overseeing human resource strategies and talent management solutions for a range of industries and companies, most recently serving as a partner at HR consulting firm Aon Hewitt.
