Mazak’s Quick Turn Nexus 250-II MSY multitasking turning center is said to handle virtually all gear production processes from raw material input through final machining. The turning center’s maximum machining diameter measures 13.78" for processing medium- to large-sized gears. The MSY configuration features milling and Y-axis capability as well as main and second turning spindles.
Mazak will also display its Integrex i-300ST five-axis multitasking machine capable of producing medium- to large-sized gears in single setups.
