Norton Saint Gobain Vitron7

Saint-Gobain Abrasives offers Norton Winter Vitron7 cubic boron nitride (CBN) grinding wheels, which feature a high-precision vitrified bond designed for the high-performance external grinding of camshafts and crankshafts as well as internal grinding applications in the automotive and bearing industries. The CBN grain particles are uniformly dispersed throughout the bond matrix for higher grinding efficiency, reduced cycle times, extended wheel life and more finished parts between dress cycles, the company says. Vitron7 wheels also grind cooler thanks to a lower specific grinding energy (SGE) minimizing residual stress and reducing surface roughness degradation.
