Available from SolutionWare, MazaCAM 4.5—Matrix Edition CAD/CAM software allows users to program virtually all Mazak machines off-line. The software handles off-line programming for the new Matrix control as well as earlier Mazak controls for the Integrex, e-Machine, Multiplex, Quick Turn, Super Quick Turn and Nexus series machines. In addition, the software can program a range of other HMCs and VMCs.
The software is designed to simplify production and reduce confusion by eliminating the need to use different systems for different machines. It can program and output to both Mazatrol and G-code CNC machines. Also, the software can convert programs written on older controls to newer controls and vise versa, and it can convert programs written for one machine to run on virtually any other machine. Existing Mazatrol programs can be converted to G-code or backplotted to an editable CAD file.
