Okuma Announces Hemaq as Distributor for Central America, Cuba, Dominican Republic
The company has already been representing Okuma in Mexico for almost three decades.
Okuma America Corp. (Charlotte, North Carolina) has announced that Hemaq S.A. de C.V. (San Nicolás de los Garza, Mexico) will be its exclusive distributor for Central America, Cuba and the Dominican Republic. The company has been representing Okuma in Mexico for more than 27 years and will take that knowledge into these new markets.
“Our partnership with Hemaq takes a giant step in bringing state-of-the-art technology to this part of the Americas,” says Jim King, president and COO of Okuma.
Hemaq operates an Okuma Technical Center in Monterrey, Mexico, and recently opened a new location in Querétaro. The company has more than 30 service technicians and 14 application engineers as well as spare parts coordinators and administrative staff.
