H.B. Rouse&Co. introduces its PFV System polygon cutters for automatic lathes, which are available with adjustable cartridges for precise machining. With the system, the smallest concentricity faults can be compensated, the company says. Profiles can be machined to any length in octagon, hexagon, square and two flats. Inserts are available in coated and uncoated versions and come with ground cutting edges. The polygon cutters are precision made and fit standard live tooling holders on machines such as Star, Tornos, Traub, Index, Gildemiester and others.
